-For extended release tablets, the initial dose is 100 mg a day. The maximum dose is 300 mg a day.

  • Children 8-17 years of age

-The dose is 25 mg a day at bedtime. The dose may increase to 25 mg every 4-7 days. The maximum dose is 200 mg a day.

How to take Fluvoxamine?

  • Follow the direction on your product label.
  • Take the medicine by mouth at night.
  • You may take this drug with or without food.
  • Continue taking this drug even if you feel well.
  • Do not crew or chew the tablet. Swallow it whole.
  • Do not stop taking this drug without telling your doctor.
  • Do not increase you dose without your doctor’s knowledge.
